Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog. I hope you took in some insightful information reading my last blog post, where I was talking about how rejection can lead you forward. If you haven't checked it out, please be sure to do so.😊

This week, I'd like to discuss emotions and feelings. I feel like we've all been taught to keep our emotions. Many people are thought to hide their feelings. It may even feel easier to stay quiet because you want to like your aburden to your friend or family. Sometimes, especially in men, we tend to believe that showing any emotion is a sign of weakness. We're in an age of social media where most of the feeds are just negative, and it feels as if we're just behappy and sulk in silence.

In reality, sharing your feelings and talking to someone about your feelings is one of the most powerful ways we can express ourselves. When we can put out our emotions that we experience, whether it's negative or positive. sharing with someone we trust, whether it's a friend, family member, or social worker, it helps us feel supported, and it reminds us that we don't have to carry everything alone. It recently happened to me where I felt overwhelmed with it being my first semester of university, and trying to maintain a job for the first time was very mentally taxing. At first, I kept it all inside since I didn't want my family and friends to feel bad or worry. But I eventually told them, and doing that gave me so much relief since I didn't have to carry all this stress alone.

I want you to remember that when reading this blog, please do not feel weak in sharing your feelings. It is important to share with the people close to you, as it shows growth and character.
