Finding Ways to Relieve Our Stress

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be talking about ways to relieve stress.
Stress is something we are all familiar with, and in fact, many of us carry the weight of it around without knowing it is even there. When life truly gets chaotic and overwhelming, one of the most powerful actions we can take for ourselves is to do less. Stopping to check in on ourselves is helpful - checking on what you actually are feeling, and why, will help us to construct some framework around the experience we are having with pressure.
Movement is another easy way to relieve stress. Just moving your body in some way, like taking a quick walk, stretching or even a moment of taking slow, deep breaths, will help settle your mind and calm your physical body. Stress energy accumulates in the body during our physical actions, like sitting for too long, which is why movement is a catalyst for letting stress leave the body.
Having small routines is also important. Small daily habits like journaling, skin care, or simply taking a quiet moment with a drink can help bring some grounding to you and create some space for stability. Talking with someone you trust or feel comfortable with will also help you relieve some of the stress and lighten the experience, and be able to take an outside look at it.
And last but not least, and probably most importantly, protect your peace. Say no, take a break and participate in experiences that bring you joy. Stress is part of life, but when you participate in self-care, you will create a more balanced life.
